We spent 90 mins combing the alleys of Parksville, looking for ugly grungy places. The locations were a blur of garage doors, exposed brick walls and loading docks. But all we unearthed was beauty. These ladies were a treat!
Relax was the word of the day on my last photoshoot. Held on their 5 acre piece of heaven in Qualicum Beach, the shoot went by in the blink of an eye. This lovely couple and their 4 year old son were an absolute dream to photograph. There were so many images to choose from but here are my favorites.
Sometimes it's the simplest moments that make the biggest impact. Here is father and son operating the excavator. As is every woman before a photoshoot, she was nervous about looking good for her portraits. But wow. Just look at her! Stunning! Can't you just hear her laughter through this image? She has an infectious laugh and I think it shows! He is small but big on personality. I think he was telling me a story while I shot this one. Father and son doing what they do best, hanging out and taking it all in. Thank you for an amazing shoot. I enjoyed every minute!
Alright... I was going to save this one for myself. At least until the launch of my website! (getting there....) But if you have come over here to find this, then here is your special sneak peek. This one is definitely destined for my portfolio page. =)
More on the facebook fan page of this amazing little guy and his sweet baby sister!
I love fall... It's a time of new beginnings for me, every year. This year even more so with the onset of my new venture. The kids clearly enjoy fall as well. Especially when it includes a visit from Uncle!
Work has begun on my photography website! I am so excited to show it to you all. But for now, this will be home. When the website is done, I will post here and move over to my new blog home within the website.
A sneak peek:
This is the logo that my husband Todd created for me. Love it! The font choice fits me perfectly!
I won't always have time to resize and post my photos on the site here. There will be some that will start to show up as I start to get a handle on things. But for now, find my photos on my Flickr site.
